Result of continuous daylight simulation: on 2 days a year, sunlight falls on the projection screen.
Consequences for AV design: the large windows were equipped not only with a shading system but blackout blinds.
Speakers with double function: the equipment serves as sound and alarming sysstem according to EN 54 at the same time.
Flexible AV integration: the speakers desk can be removed, if required. For more space for events or even concerts instead of lectures.
Have your lecture as you like: two projectors and two docment cameras convey clear pictures on the screen. Control is easy from the desk in front or from the control room.
Classic device: 6 blackboards of 5m length round off presentations. The motorized system helps moving the boards without effort and to considerable height.

LECTURES AND MORE
Both lecturers and students are quite enthusiastic abbout the new auditorium. This successful project is the result of excellent collaboration between Hochschule Bochum, experts for fire prevention, architects, the installation company for fire alarm, electric planning, TAC Technische Akustik and AV design.
The AV concept concentrates on lecturers requirements. In close collaboration with the university’s media center, hmpartner developed a desk for lecturers with two desktop visualizers and 2 PC ports. An additional lectern with PC port and an integrated computer is also part of the auditorium’s equipment, offering many options to lecturers for their presentations. From the technical point of view, the multi-media room is ready for more than lectures: concerts, graduation events or cinema.
